We are here to provide your exotic pet with the highest level of professional and attentive care in a peaceful and calm environment free of dogs and cats. We treat every patient with great care, even the smallest ones.

What is „exotic” pet? Exotic pet refers to any pet not commonly seen in traditional canine and feline practice. Care of these species requires special knowledge and training.
Our specialist treatment includes:
– small mammals: rodents (guinea pigs, rats, degus, chinchillas, mice, hamsters), rabbits, ferrets, hedgehogs, squirrels, sugar gliders, raccoons, skunks and many others,
– birds (parrots, parakeets, canaries, finches, birds of prey, backyard poultry and fancy pigeons),
– reptiles (tortoises, lizards – geckos, chameleons, agamas, iguanas and snakes),
– amphibians (axolotls, frogs) and fish.

We provide comprehensive healthcare for exotic pets including:
– medical and surgical treatment,
– preventive care (vaccination, deworming, spay and neuter, health checkups, microchipping),
– specialist consultation (cardiology, dental, ophtalmology, oncology, physiotherapy),
– dental care for rabbits, guinea pigs, chinchillas, degus, rats, ferrets, hedgehogs and others

The heart of Vetika is our team, highly trained to provide professional care for exotic patients. Currently consisting of 7 doctors (including 5 specialists in non-domestic animal diseases) and support staff (5 veterinary technicians and 2 receptionists), giving their best to take care of your special pet. Constantly improving our qualifications at conferences and trainings, we provide the highest standard of medicine and surgery of exotic animals. We belong to international organizations: AAV (Association of Avian Veterinarians), EAAV (European Association of Avian Veterinarians), AEMV (Association of Exotic Mammal Veterinarians).

Our facility has modern medical equipment adjusted to exotic species. We use a digital X-ray machine, high-class ultrasound, endoscope, ECG, Doppler blood pressure monitor, pulse oximeter, electrocautery, ultrasonic scaler, dental unit, inhalation anesthesia machines, specialized incubators for animals, infusion pumps, oxygen concentrators, physiotherapy machine (magneto, electro, laser therapy). We also offer extensive laboratory diagnostics (blood, urine, feces tests, cytological tests, swabs, cultures, quick diagnostic tests). We cooperate with renowned laboratories (IDEXX, Vetlab, Laboklin, Lab-wet, ALAB, AnimalLab).

As a standard, surgical procedures are performed under isoflurane inhalation anesthesia. We do not arrange surgical procedures without a prior visit and examination by our doctor. In order to ensure maximum safety before anesthesia, we recommend a blood test, and an echo for seniors. We use specialized monitoring equipment to make anesthetic procedures as safe as possibile and surgical tools and techniques designed specifically for exotic pets.

We work from 9 am to 9 pm, on Saturday from 9 am to 4 pm, on Sunday and holidays from 10 am to 3 pm. On Thursday from 2 pm to 3 pm there is a short technical break. Prior registration of visits is required (by phone or online).
If your pet needs urgent help and cannot wait for a free date, we provide emergency services by a hospital doctor. We provide emergency care on Sundays and holidays to any exotic pet in need. There is no registration then, and the price of the visit is more expensive.

The clinic has a pet shop where you can buy high-quality foods and supplies for your special pet (e.g. Versele Laga, Harrison’s Bird Food, Tivo, Mixerama, Claus, Exoterra, Arcadia, Nekton, emergency food by dr Ziętek).

We provide hotel service for our patients (birds and other exotic animals).

In addition, we deal with the treatment of wild animals, helping them return to the wild – Vetika also holds wild animals rehabilitation center run by the Action for Wild Animals Foundation.
